Lucille D. Gough, RN, MSN, MBA
President & CEO
Home Health Care Management, Inc.

Our family of companies offers a great service to our community, is a good steward of community dollars, and offers a rewarding opportunity for all employees in our organization.

Lucille Gough began her career in 1971 with Berks VNA Home Health Agency (today known as Berks Visiting Nurse Association) as a staff nurse. She moved through several promotions and in late 1976 became Executive Director. In 1987 that one organization expanded to three separate entities, Home Health Care Management (HHCM), Berks Visiting Nurse Association (BVNA) and Advantage Home Care (AHC) with Lucille serving as President & CEO. In 1998 Greater Lehigh Valley Visiting Nurse Association (GLVVNA) and Visiting Nurse Association of Pottstown & Vicinity (VNAP) joined this family of companies. Lucille serves as President & CEO of each company.

She is responsible to the Board of Directors for all functions and activities of HHCM, and its subsidiaries, BVNA, GLVVNA, VNAP and AHC, and carries overall managerial responsibility for the planning, organization, staffing, direction, coordination, and evaluation of service programs and related activities. Lucille also serves as the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Officer.

She is active in the community, serving on Berks County Community Foundation, June Roedel Memorial Scholarship Fund Committee; Intra-Governmental Council on Long Term Care, appointment by the Governor’s office; Visiting Nurse Associations of Pennsylvania, Board of Directors; as well as other affiliations.

Lucille believes that people choose us for their home care because of the quality and excellence as reflected in our 400+ well-qualified professionals and evidenced in our CHAP accreditation and our client outcomes as reported in Home Health Compare. Additionally, and most importantly, is our client satisfaction rating which is well above 90% consistently.

Looking to the future, Lucille sees that home health care, and our family of companies specifically, has a great future. “As our baby boomer generation grays, they know what they want – to remain in their homes and receive health care and related services to assist them with that goal. Helping people remain in their home of choice and be as independent in their care as possible is our commitment.”

In today’s health care environment, Lucille views her job as “challenging and rewarding.” She is always ready to meet every need with success.
