Intravenous (IV) therapy provides comfort and healing to clients with the opportunity to receive this type of therapy in their homes. Today’s technology facilitates an uncomplicated setup and maintenance procedure and includes IV therapies such as antibiotics, hydration, pain control, some chemotherapies, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), IVIG, IV Solumedrol, as well as other therapies. IV therapy enables our clients to receive their treatment in the privacy of their homes. It can be prescribed by a physician to a client already at home or upon discharged from a hospital or rehabilitation center.
